Cabin on Winter Creek - Winter Creek cabin is located two miles north of St. Helena, California and three quarters of a mile west of Highway 29. At an elevation of 800 feet it is six hundred feet above the valley vineyards. The forest of evergreen and deciduous trees and the lavender garden in front presents a perfect background for peace and quiet. The nearest house is 150 yards away and not visible. There are only two families using the access road and there is very little traffic. On the other hand there is every modern convenience; telephone, radio-cd-tape, television/vcr/satellite. Heat is provided by a wood stove in the living room and a gas heater in the dining area. Air-conditioning is from the ceiling fans in each room and an opening sky light in the kitchen.
